The story of Eeetwell. Malta's go-to destination for flavourful healthy food.

The story of Eeetwell. Malta's go-to destination for flavourful healthy food.

Eeetwell, long known for its mouth-watering meals and smoothie selection, is the largest food and beverage franchise in Malta. Eeetwell was built on a passion for thoughtfully-prepared food and combatting climate change, and has most of their products sourced locally from farms that carry out sustainable practices.

Not only is their food created using conscious ingredients that are both beneficial to our bodies and the planet, but eeetwell also pays great attention to the materials used in their packaging, ensuring to only make use of biodegradable or compostable materials that aid their journey in becoming as carbon-neutral as possible.

Eeetwell aspires to make an impact through every practice it implements - from the charities they donate to and athletes they support, to their diverse workforce and fair opportunities offered.

We spoke with Gustaf Cauchi, Head of Marketing at eeetwell, to learn more about the inspiring franchise:

Q: Tell us a little bit about eeetwell’s story! How and when did it all start?

A: Established in 2015, eeetwell is a go-to destination for chef-inspired flavourful healthy food, refreshing juices, icy smoothies and tasty desserts. With 14 open locations in the Maltese islands + a solid Central Power Unit (CPU) more restaurants opening soon by the final quarter of 2021, we pride ourselves in offering an array of delicious healthy options to satisfy every taste bud. Our first
international restaurant opened in February 2020 in the beautiful city of Antwerp, Belgium and will soon open in Dubai, Spain and Italy.

Q: What is your mission at eeetwell?

A: To change the way people think about food. At eeetwell, we believe that food has an immense power on our bodies, our lives and the communities that surround us. Since day one we vowed to keep our food authentic and the relationships with our customers + supply partners real. In our opinion food is not something we should take passively, but a powerful and conscious choice we make every day that can empower communities, foster growth and boost our health.

Q: Could you share a few of your latest menu additions with us? Do you have any personal favourites?

A: Our latest menu launch is all about the taste of Summer with 3 new bowls + 1 Juice namely the Summer Cottage Bowl, Blueberry Harvest, Tunacado Salad + Peach Pina Colada. My personal favourite from the lot is the Summer Cottage Bowl because of the combination between the mozzarella di bufala and peaches. When topped up with pine nuts it really makes the flavours ‘pop’ and it feels very refreshing and enjoyable to eat.

Q: We’ve heard you have opened a fantastic new outlet! Could you tell us about this and where our readers can find it?

A: Our latest outlet has opened at MINUSTHREE the Point shopping mall in Sliema and a new of its kind 3-storey eeetwell will open its doors soon in Malta.

Follow eeetwell’s journey and tell us what your favorite meal is.
